Book 12/52 of My #52Books52Weeks Bucket List Challenge
I am obsessed with time optimization. Always have been.
I’m constantly hacking my day, week, month, quarter, year, and life to maximize my experiences and fulfillment. For me, that’s what optimizing my human experience is all about—designing a life that allows me to do more of what I love, with the people I love, in the places I love.
And it’s not just for me. I do a lot of this for my clients too—helping them design their schedules, routines, and focus so they can tick off their Bucket List and live a more intentional life.
So when I came across Perfect Week Formula by Craig Ballantyne, I knew I had to read it as part of my #52Books52Weeks challenge. Craig lays out a simple but powerful strategy to take control of your time, eliminate distractions, and design your perfect week so that your priorities—not other people’s demands—drive your schedule.
Control Your Mornings, Control Your Life – How you start your day determines everything. Win the morning, win the day.
Guard Your Time Ruthlessly – If you don’t protect your time, other people will take it from you. Learn to say no.
Schedule Your Priorities First – Don’t let your important work get pushed aside. Block out time for your biggest goals.
Eliminate Distractions & Energy Drains – Social media, emails, and random tasks will steal your time. Cut the noise and focus.
Design Your Week Around What Matters Most – Your week should reflect your biggest priorities—not just react to what’s urgent. Be intentional.
If It’s Not Scheduled, It Won’t Happen – Want to travel? Write a book? Train for a challenge? Put it in your calendar and commit.
More Focus = More Freedom – The more structured and disciplined your time is, the more freedom you create for what truly matters.
Success is Built on Daily & Weekly Habits – A fulfilled life isn’t created by accident. It’s the result of consistent, intentional action.
Say No to Say Yes – Every time you say “yes” to something that doesn’t serve your goals, you’re saying “no” to your dreams. Protect your time.
Time Optimization = More Bucket List Adventures – The better you manage your time, the more space you create for the things that truly light you up.
This book reinforced what I’ve believed for years: Your time is your most valuable asset. Protect it, optimize it, and use it wisely.
And here’s my challenge to YOU: What’s one thing you could optimize in your week right now to create more time for what truly matters?
Let’s design our perfect weeks and make every day count! 🚀
Stay tuned for Book 13 of 52 as I continue this adventure of learning and growth!
