Raised in Ocean Grove, Australia.
Surfing.
Surf Life Saving.
Swimming.
The ocean teaches discipline. Respect. Resilience.
Naturally labelled a “jock,” Trav followed performance into becoming an Exercise Physiologist after graduating from Victoria University.
He started Personal Training in his 3rd year of University — becoming one of the first PTs running around Melbourne before the industry even knew what it was becoming.

One of the first dedicated PT Studios in Melbourne.
First to franchise PT Studios in Australia.
What followed:
• Studios across 3 Australian states
• 300+ Personal Trainers
• Tens of thousands of clients
He didn’t just train bodies.
He built culture, systems and leadership.
But growth without boundaries has consequences.
He let the wrong people into the business.
Cancerous culture spread.
And he didn’t cope well.

The business was scaling.
Internally, he wasn’t.
Depression hit.
Instead of numbing it, he chose to understand it.
That decision changed everything.
He immersed himself in:
• Positive Psychology
• NLP
• Life Coaching
• Books
• Retreats
• Mentors
The mess became the message.
A friend said:
“Trav, you should teach this stuff.”
Public speaking was his biggest fear.
So he put on a public event anyway.
40 people showed up.
That night, after sharing his “Before I Die List” (which he’d kept since 18), someone said:
“You’re like… The Bucket List Guy.”
He registered
www.thebucketlistguy.com that night.
And everything pivoted.

He sold and de-franchised his fitness empire.
Started running 3-Day Bucket List Xperience events.
Built the Bucket Listers community.
Keynoted on 6 of 7 continents
(Still waiting on Antarctica 😉)
Took Bucket Listers to:
• Machu Picchu
• Kokoda
• Everest Base Camp
• Kilimanjaro (with his Dad)
Then life hit again.
His best mate Cam — diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer.
They lived Cam’s Bucket List big time.
Cam passed away.
And the work deepened.
Bucket Lists were no longer inspirational.
They were urgent.

2,500 people.
A full-circle moment.
“Do a TEDx Talk” — ticked.
He founded Certified Bucket List Coach™
Scaled into 22 countries.
Covid imploded that model.
So he wrote MYBUCKETLIST Blueprint instead.
Launched the Bucket List Life Podcast.
Relaunched the Bucket Listers Club.
Built the global #tickitB4Ukickit community.
Sold and donated everything.
Became a digital nomad.
Bali became base.
And ironically — had his biggest keynote year ever.

Today, Trav doesn’t just deliver one keynote.
He delivers four:
LISTS
LEADERSHIP
LIFE DESIGN
LONELINESS
His work now sits at the intersection of:
Engagement × Ownership × Mental Health × Human Connection
What began as a personal list at 18
Became a global movement
Now serves organisations navigating the modern “perfect storm” of disengagement, burnout and loneliness.

He’s now a step-dad to four amazing kids.
A founder coach.
Still surfing.
Still optimising time like it’s a sport.
Still asking one simple question:
“What’s on your Bucket List?”

It's about designing a life people don't need to escape from.
If that’s the kind of impact you want at your next event…
